Rockets not concerned about Patrick Beverley's groin
The Houston Rockets are confident that guard Patrick Beverley's groin injury isn't anything too serious, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Beverley was unable to return on Wednesday after straining his groin the first half, but it sounds like he should be ready to return after the All-Star break. If it's worse than believed, Corey Brewer and Sam Dekker will see extra run. Brewer started the third quarter on Wednesday night.
Beverley is tied for fourth on the Rockets and 75th in the NBA with a 1.9 nERD this season. He's averaging 9.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.7 3-pointers in 30.5 minutes per game this season.
