Houston falls to the Heat despite a triple-double from James Harden
Houston Rockets guard James Harden had a huge game, with 38 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists and 1 block in 41 minutes of action as the Rockets fell 117-109 to the Miami Heat.
That brings Harden up to 15 triple-doubles on the season, while his six triple-doubles with 35-plus points are already the second most ever recorded in a single season. He's averaging 29.2 points and a league-leading 11.3 assists on the year, as well as 8.3 rebounds in 36.6 minutes per game.
Even in a loss, Harden posted a game-high 36.5 nERD on Wednesday night, per numberFire Live. He also ranks third in the NBA and first among Rockets players with a 13.5 nERD on the season.
