Minnesota rules out Lance Stephenson (ankle) on Wednesday
Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Lance Stephenson (ankle) has been ruled out against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.
Stephenson is dealing with a Grade 2 ankle sprain, which may spell the end of his tenure in Minnesota, as he was only playing on a 10-day contract. Brandon Rush, Kris Dunn and Shabazz Muhammad should all pick up a couple of extra minutes with Stephenson out tonight.
Muhammad is our top-projected fantasy option of that trio. We project him for 11.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 3-pointers in 23.5 minutes of action against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
