Mason Plumlee, Nikola Jokic won't share Nuggets' frontcourt often

Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone said he doesn't envision forward/center Mason Plumlee spending much time next to center Nikola Jokic.

What It Means:

"I don’t envision those two playing together 15, 20 minutes a night," Malone said. "If they are out there 10 to 12, I think Mason has the intelligence and the defensive versatility to guard stretch fours." Plumlee is slated to replace Jusuf Nurkic in the Nuggets' rotation, meaning inconsistent minutes and a scattering of DNP-CDs. His fantasy value is essentially kaput in Denver.

Plumlee averaged 11.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks per game with the Portland Trail Blazers this season prior to being traded. His 2.1 nERD is currently tied for 70th in the NBA.
