Minnesota falls to Cleveland despite a huge game from Andrew Wiggins
Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Andrew Wiggins went 16-of-29 from the field on Tuesday, finishing with 41 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 41 minutes of action as the Wolves fell 116-108 to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Wiggins has done some serious work in the six games since Zach LaVine tore his ACL, averaging 29.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals in 37.3 minutes per game.
Wiggins put up a game-high 24.9 nERD in Tuesday's loss, per numberFire Live. Despite the strong showing, he still owns an ugly -2.2 nERD on the season, which is tied for 397th in the NBA and is the second-worst among Wolves players.
