Warriors without Klay Thompson (sore right heel) on Monday
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Klay Thompson (sore right heel) will not play on Monday versus the Denver Nuggets.
The injury is minor, but the Warriors want to play it safe with the All-Star break on tap this weekend, meaning there's a chance he also sits on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings. Patrick McCaw may start, but he's not a recommended fantasy play. Andre Iguodala should see more run and the rest of Golden State's starters will pick up extra work on offense.
Thompson has been lighting it up this month, connecting on 50.9 percent of his shots from the field and an absurd 54.2 percent from deep across six February contests. During that stretch, he's averaging 27.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 5.3 3-pointers per game.
