Channing Frye replacing Kevin Love for Cavaliers (knee) Tuesday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Channing Frye will start in place of Kevin Love (knee) on Tuesday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Frye could return some value this week if Love also misses Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. In three starts this season, Frye is logging 24.7 minutes per game while averaging 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.0 3-pointers.
Our models expect Frye to record 8.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 3-pointers on Tuesday night, but that projection only accounts for 17.2 minutes of playing time. His 1.5 nERD is fifth on the Cavaliers and tied for 84th in the NBA this season.
