Rockets' Ryan Anderson slices thumb while taking out trash, questionable Wednesday
Houston Rockets forward/center Ryan Anderson (thumb) is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Miami Heat.
The injury occurred at Anderson's home on Sunday night when he cut his thumb on a broken piece of glass while taking out the trash. It required him going to the emergency room, but the Rockets should provide an update on Tuesday. Sam Dekker would benefit from an Anderson absence.
Anderson is averaging 13.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.7 3-points in 30.8 minutes per game this season. His 1.9 nERD is tied for 75th in the NBA and ranks fifth-highest on the Rockets.
