Toronto's Jakob Poeltl draws his third career start on Sunday
Toronto Raptors power forward Jakob Poeltl made the third start of his rookie season on Sunday, racking up 5 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal in 20 minutes of action.
The Raptors were without Patrick Patterson (knee) in this one, and Poeltl saw healthy playing time while Pascal Siakam and Jared Sullinger, who are typically ahead of him in the rotation, did not play (coach's decision). Toronto has lost 10 of their last 14 games, so they may continue to experiment with their rotation as we head into the All-Star break.
Poeltl finished fourth among Raptors players with a 4.19 nERD in the loss, per numberFire Live. That brings him to a -0.1 nERD on the season, which ranks 183rd in the NBA and eighth on the Raptors.
