Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant was great against the Oklahoma City Thunder during a 130-114 win on Saturday, scoring 34 points with nine rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers.
It was Durant's first game back in Oklahoma City after leaving for Golden State in free agency and despite a very hostile crowd and some 'cupcake' chants, Durant lit up his old team. He has now dropped an average of 37.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.0 treys in three games against his former team this season and he'll get one more chance to beat up on Russell Westbrook and company on Monday, March 20.
Durant is averaging 25.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.7 blocks over 34.3 minutes per game. He owns a career-best .592 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 15.6 is by far the best in the league right now.
