Miami's James Johnson matches season-high with 26 points on Saturday
Miami Heat forward James Johnson matched his season-high 26 points against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, adding four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.
Johnson was coming off 26 points in a Friday win against the Brooklyn Nets, but his 26 points weren't enough to keep Miami's winning streak alive on Saturday. He has seen a solid bump in usage rate with Dion Waiters off the court, so until Waiters is back, Johnson should continue seeing a ton of shots.
Johnson is averaging a career-best 12.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists, to go with 1.1 blocks in 26.4 minutes per game. He owns a .552 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 1.0 ranks 94th among all players.
