Boston's Jae Crowder (personal) will not play Saturday
Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder (personal) will not play Saturday against the Utah Jazz.
Crowder is away from the team dealing with a family issue in Texas, so he will once again be out on Saturday. On Thursday, the Celtics had to rely heavily on rookie Jaylen Brown and they gave 38 minutes to Marcus Smart. Gerald Green and Terry Rozier also got in the mix without Crowder. Both Brown and Smart will have to play heavy minutes on Saturday along with Isaiah Thomas.
Our models project Brown to be the best value play among the Celtics on Saturday with 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steal over 32.6 minutes against the Jazz.
