Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green posted one of the most unique triple-doubles in NBA history during a 122-107 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, scoring four points with 12 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals, five blocks and two turnovers.
Green is the first player in modern NBA history to ever record a triple-double without scoring at least 10 points. His 10 steals were just one away from tying an NBA record for steals in a game, but he settled for the Warriors' franchise record for steals in a contest. Interestingly enough, the Warriors are 18-0 this season when Green records a triple-double.
Green is averaging 10.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.5 blocks over 33.4 minutes per game this season. He has a .509 effective field goal percentage and a nERD of 5.3, which ranks him 24th among all players.
