Dion Waiters (ankle) will not play Friday for the Heat
Miami Heat guard/forward Dion Waiters (ankle) will not play against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
Wayne Ellington turned in 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting while filling in for Waiters on Wednesday, adding 5 triples, 2 rebounds and an assist in 28 minutes. He's worth the look on DFS and for owners in need of long-range help. Tyler Johnson owners can also bank on additional usage sans Waiters.
Without yet accounting for Waiters' absence, our models already like Ellington as a decent value play on Friday night with his $3,700 price tag on FanDuel. For now, we expect him to record 11.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.2 3-pointers versus Brooklyn.
