Nets lose again despite nice game from Brook Lopez
Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez scored 20 points with 4 blocks in Tuesday's 111-107 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, adding 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 triple in 29 minutes.
Lopez turned the ball over four times, which was the only real blemish on the big man's game other than the loss. He was 8-for-17 from the floor and when asked after the game about his name being brought in in trade rumors, Lopez deflected. His name has been linked to the New Orleans Pelicans, but the Nets are reportedly asking for two first round picks in exchange, so don't expect much movement on him while the asking price is that high.
Lopez is averaging 20.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 blocks over 29.4 minutes per game. He owns a .522 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 0.4 ranks him 120th among all players.
