Kings' DeMarcus Cousins picks up a one-game suspension

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was ejected from Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls with two technical fouls, his 15th and 16th of the season.

What It Means:

Cousins' 16th technical will bring on a one-game suspension on Wednesday against the Boston Celtics. He will now have to serve a one-game suspension for every technical he gets over the rest of the season, which means Boogie's fantasy owners will likely need to plan to be without him for at least a few more games this season. Kosta Koufos and Willie Cauley-Stein will have to pick up the slack without Cousins on Wednesday.

Cousins is averaging a career-best 27.9 points to go with 10.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks over 34.6 minutes per game. He has a .493 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 5.3 ranks him 23rd among all players.
