Tarik Black enters Lakers' first unit, Timofey Mozgov to bench
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Tarik Black will move into the starting lineup for Monday's matchup with the New York Knicks, sending Timofey Mozgov to the bench.
Black will join D'Angelo Russell, Nick Young, Brandon Ingram and Julius Randle in the starting unit. The Lakers are beginning to focus more on developing their young core, meaning both Black and Ivica Zubac should see increased opportunity over the season's second half. If you're looking for a speculative add, Zubac is probably the preferred play.
Black is averaging 6.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 23.0 minutes per game in six starts this season.
