Larry Nance double-doubles as Lakers fall to Celtics
Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. matched his season-high with 18 points in Friday's loss to the Boston Celtics, shooting 7-of-13 from the field.
Julius Randle is still making his way back from a bout with pneumonia, so Nance got some extra run (32 minutes) on Friday. He added 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals in a complete line on Friday night, but it wasn't enough as the Lakers lost their 10th game over their last 12 overall. Nance could see some extended run over the latter half of the season if the Lakers fall further out of playoff contention.
Nance is averaging 6.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals over 21.9 minutes per game. He has an impressive .574 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 0.7 ranks him 102nd among all players.
