Warriors bringing in Briante Weber on a 10-day
The Golden State Warriors will sign point guard Briante Weber to a 10-day deal.
The move suggests Shaun Livingston (back) is looking at a multi-game absence. Weber recently earned January Player of the Month honors in the D-League after averaging 21.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 3.6 steals. He also came just a steal away from completing a quadruple-double on Tuesday, so the upside is there. However, without a guaranteed place in the rotation, Weber is only worth adding in deeper formats.
Weber played six games for the Memphis Grizzlies last season, and he averaged 4.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.5 steals over 27.7 minutes per contest.
