Charlotte Hornets forward/center Cody Zeller (quad) will not play against the Utah Jazz on Saturday.
After trading away Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert to the Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte doesn't have too much to work with at the five. Frank Kaminsky will start in a brutal matchup with Rudy Gobert, and Miles Plumlee should make his Hornets debut. Zeller is expected back after the break, so owners might not be able to afford the dead spot until then.
Zeller is averaging 10.9 points and 6.6 rebounds on 59.0 percent shooting from the field this season, all three of which are career-highs. His 3.1 nERD ranks second-best on the Hornets and is inside the league's top-50.
