Derrick Favors (rest) expected to play Saturday for Jazz

Utah Jazz forward/center Derrick Favors (rest) practiced on Friday and is expected to play Saturday versus the Charlotte Hornets.

What It Means:

Favors has missed the past two games and been held out of full-contact practice this week for what the team is describing as "rest." He's been limited to 33 games this season and isn't close to 100 percent healthy. Trey Lyles and Boris Diaw will see their respective playing times reduced with Favors back in the lineup.

Favors has regressed to averages of 9.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 23.3 minutes per game this season. He's currently 10th on the Jazz and tied for 278th in the NBA with a -0.6 nERD.
