76ers' Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot making first start of career Wednesday
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot will start for Robert Covington (hand) to face the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
"We'll go with Timmy tonight, and give him a taste of starting in the NBA," head coach Brett Brown said of his rookie. Luwawu remains no more than a deep-league option, but he could be worth a punt play on DFS in his first starting gig.
numberFire's metrics project Luwawu for 7.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 3-pointers in 20.4 minutes against the Mavericks.
