Mavericks' J.J. Barea (calf) remains a long way from return
Dallas Mavericks point guard J.J. Barea (left calf strain) is not close to practicing and head coach Rick Carlisle expects him to remain on the sidelines even after the All-Star break.
Barea has been limited to only 18 games this season, and with no timetable in sight, he's not really worth holding in any format. On the other hand, Seth Curry could prove to be a significant fantasy asset as the season progresses.
Over the last five, Curry is averaging 17.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.6 3-pointers. His -0.2 nERD is third-best on the Mavericks this season.
