Warriors' Zaza Pachulia scheduled for MRI on shoulder
Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his right shoulder, and he is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Charlotte Hornets.
Pachulia being unavailable would open up minutes in the frontcourt for a platoon of Kevon Looney, Anderson Varejao and JaVale McGee. Kevin Durant and Draymond Green could also be featured in more small-ball lineups. The MRI results should provide a clearer sense of his status for Wednesday's game.
Pachulia is averaging 5.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 18.8 minutes per game this season. His 2.7 nERD is fourth-best on the Warriors and ranks inside the league's top-50.
