Hornets rule out Cody Zeller (quad) for Tuesday, unlikely Wednesday
Charlotte Hornets forward/center Cody Zeller (right quad) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, and it's also unlikely that he'll take the court for Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors.
Zeller has already missed the past three games and it sounds like he'll miss two more. Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert will continue to see more run while Zeller is sidelined, but they aren't recommended adds in standard formats.
Our models prefer Hawes for DFS purposes on Tuesday night, and project him to record 11.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 blocks in 28.2 minutes versus Portland. His 0.0 nERD is tied for seventh on the Hornets this season.
