D'Angelo Russell starting for Lakers Tuesday after three-game absence
Los Angeles Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell (calf, knee) will return to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets, sending Jose Calderon back to the bench.
Russell has missed the past three games, but he isn't expected to have any minutes restriction versus Denver. Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams will see less usage while Calderon may fall out of the rotation.
numberFire's models currently have Russell projected for 14.6 points, 4.8 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.6 3-pointers in 26.5 minutes against Denver on Tuesday night. His -2.8 nERD is tied for 423rd in the NBA while ranking fourth-worst on the Lakers this season.
