Robin Lopez ties his season-high with 21 points for Bulls on Sunday
Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez knocked down 9-of-13 shots to tie his season-high with 21 points on Sunday, adding 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks without any turnovers in 31 minutes against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Taj Gibson was sitting out Sunday, which gave Lopez some more run. It was Lopez's first double-digit scoring effort in five games, so it was nice to see the Bulls' big man get back on track offensively, even against the shorthanded Sixers. Maybe it will help him get back in the groove after his recent slump.
Lopez is averaging 9.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks over 28.1 minutes per game this season. However, he has a disappointing .489 effective field goal percentage, which has his nERD sitting at -0.2 on the year (tied for 205th in the NBA).
