Jodie Meeks (thumb surgery) out indefinitely for Magic
Orlando Magic shooting guard Jodie Meeks underwent surgery to correct his dislocated right thumb on Tuesday, and he will be out indefinitely.
Meeks has been limited to 24 games this season after playing in just three last year, and he doesn't carry any fantasy relevance at this point. Evan Fournier (heel) and D.J. Augustin are also out, meaning Elfrid Payton should remain plenty busy in the backcourt. Mario Hezonja may have an opportunity to work his way into the rotation.
Payton has been on a tear over his past five contests, and is averaging 21.0 points, 8.0 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.2 3-pointers in 33.8 minutes per game in that span.
