Kawhi Leonard sitting out on Monday as the Spurs take on the Nets
San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard (hand) will not play on Monday versus the Brooklyn Nets.
Leonard only has a sore hand, but the Spurs are facing the worst team in the NBA, so they can afford to rest their superstar on the front end of a back-to-back. Expect him to be back on Tuesday versus the Toronto Raptors. Jonathon Simmons and Kyle Anderson will see plenty of action with Leonard sidelined.
Our models have Simmons projected for 19.5 fantasy points in 27.2 minutes while Anderson is in line for the better night with 22.1 fantasy points in 27.6 minutes.
