Kris Dunn flirts with a triple-double in start for Minnesota
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Kris Dunn racked up 10 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 block in 34 minutes of action in Sunday's 111-108 win over the Denver Nuggets.
Dunn drew a start in the place of Ricky Rubio (personal), and he made the most of it. Those 34 minutes were a career-high for the rookie, and he is now averaging 4.0 points, 2.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 17.0 minutes per game this season.
Dunn finished second among Timberwolves players on Sunday with a 7.9 nERD, per numberFire Live. Despite the solid showing, he still ranks only 429th in the NBA and second-last on Minnesota with a -2.9 nERD on the season.
