Ricky Rubio (hip) makes an early exit for Minnesota on Thursday

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio didn't play in the second half of Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers because of tightness in his hip.

What It Means:

No word yet on whether Rubio will be forced to miss any more time with the injury. Kris Dunn started the second half in Rubio's place on Thursday, and would likely remain in the starting lineup for the Wolves' next game on Sunday.

Rubio hasn't had a particularly good season, averaging the fewest points (7.7) and second-fewest assists (7.9) per game of his career despite his minutes (31.6 per game) being right in line with his career-average. He ranks 164th in the NBA with a 0.0 nERD.
