Al Horford struggles from the field Wednesday as Boston falls to New York
Boston Celtics center Al Horford finished with only 5 points on 2-of-14 shooting on Wednesday, adding 10 assists and 7 rebounds as the Celtics lost 117-106 to the New York Knicks.
This was Horford's worst shooting day in a Celtics uniform, setting season-lows in field goals made, field goal percentage and points. He hasn't had a great season in Boston, and his 15.1 points per game are his fewest since the 2011-2012 season while his 6.8 rebounds per game are a career-low. His assist numbers are a bright spot though, and he's averaging a career-best 5.0 assists per game.
Horford's -32.9 nERD ranked dead-last among Celtics players in Wednesday's loss. His season-long nERD now sits at 1.3, which is good for fourth on the team and 78th in the NBA.
