J.J. Barea excels in limited minutes as Dallas beats Minnesota
Dallas Mavericks point guard J.J. Barea went 5-of-5 from the field, racking up 15 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 17 minutes of action as the Mavericks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-87 on Monday.
Barea has missed 24 games with a leg injury this season, and has been limited to fewer than 20 minutes in each of his four games since returning. This was easily his best of those four games, and he's averaging a career-high 12.3 points to go with 5.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 25.8 minutes per game on the season.
