Kristaps Porzingis out again for the Knicks on Sunday
New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) will not play on Sunday versus the Toronto Raptors.
Porzingis will miss his second straight game and fifth overall with the sore Achilles issue. The Knicks big man was expected to sit out on Sunday with hopes he would be good to go for New York on Monday. Lance Thomas is projected to get the start in Porzingis' place with Carmelo Anthony taking on a larger portion of the offensive responsibility.
Thomas has not done much in Porzingis' absence, scoring a total of four points with eight rebounds and four assists in the last two games. Melo, on the other hand, has averaged 25.5 points in the last two games.
