Timberwolves marking Zach LaVine (hip) questionable for Wednesday
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine (left hip contusion) was a limited participant during Tuesday's practice and is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Houston Rockets.
Kris Dunn could draw the start if LaVine sits, which would mean more offensive looks for Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Head coach Tom Thibodeau said LaVine is day-to-day with the hip injury. He currently leads all NBA players with 37.4 minutes played per game.
That compares to 26.4 minutes per game over the first two seasons of his career. LaVine is averaging 20.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.9 3-pointers on 46.8 percent shooting from the field this year. His 0.1 nERD ties LaVine for 85th in the NBA.
