Dirk Nowitzki scores a season-high as Mavericks fall to Timberwolves
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 26 points to go with 5 rebounds and 4 assists as the Mavericks fell 101-92 to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.
This was only the second time Nowitzki has cracked even 20 points this season, with the first occasion coming on opening night in October. He has only played in 13 games during this campaign, averaging 12.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 24.2 minutes per contest.
Nowitzki led the Mavs with a 28.3 nERD in Monday's loss, per numberFire Live. He still has a rough -1.0 nERD on the season though, which ranks 329th in the NBA.
