Brandon Jennings

Brandon Jennings scores well in Monday start for Knicks

New York Knicks point guard Brandon Jennings drew the start on Monday and went 8-of-14 from the field, finishing with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in 29 minutes of action.

What It Means:

Derrick Rose didn't show up for Monday's game, and wasn't even in contact with the Knicks until after the contest. It's hard to know how that situation is going to play out, but it does seem likely that we'll see Brandon Jennings start at least a few more games, with the potential that he takes over as the full-time starter if Rose is on the outs in New York.

Jennings has had a pretty rough season so far, ranking 407th in the NBA with a -2.1 nERD, though his production has been promising from a fantasy standpoint, averaging 12.9 points, a team-high 7.7 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per 36 minutes.
