Lucas Nogueira plays only 13 minutes off the bench in Raptors' defeat
Toronto Raptors forward/center Lucas Nogueira played only 13 minutes off the bench on Sunday, racking up 4 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block in a 129-122 loss to the Houston Rockets.
Nogueira had started two straight games before this one, but saw his workload shrink dramatically as the Raptors decided to go small, starting DeMarre Carroll at power forward to match up better with Houston. Nogueira will likely continue to see plenty of work against teams with more size in the front-court.
Nogueira has been excellent this season, leading the Raptors with a .674 true shooting percentage, while also ranking third with a 13.1 percent total rebound rate. His 1.7 nERD is fourth on the team and tied for 59th in the NBA.
