J.J. Barea says he will suit up for Dallas on Saturday
Dallas Mavericks guard J.J. Barea (left leg muscle strain) told reporters that he will play on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.
Barea has been out for the better part of seven weeks with a bad leg injury, but it appears he is healthy enough to make his return tonight. His presence will cut into the minutes of Seth Curry and Devin Harris, so Barea is no yet on the fantasy radar. He will almost surely be on a minutes limit for the first few games.
Over 11 games this season, Barea is averaging 14.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 0.7 steals over 29.1 minutes per game. He owns a .478 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of -0.1 ranks tied for 190th.
