Dion Waiters (groin) logs 10 minutes in return for Miami
Miami Heat guard/forward Dion Waiters (groin) played 10 minutes off the bench, racking up four points, an assist, one rebound and three turnovers in his return to action on Wednesday.
The groin injury has kept Waiters on the sidelines since November 26, and while he is being eased back into the lineup, it shouldn't be too long before he's back to his usual role. Before the injury, he was averaging 14.2 points, 3.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 31.8 minutes per game this season.
Waiters had put together a pretty rough start to the season before the injury, and was on pace for a career-worst .456 true shooting percentage as well as a 10.5 player efficiency rating and 13.0 percent turnover rate that would both be the second-worst marks of his career.
