76ers to rest Jahlil Okafor on Friday
The Philadelphia 76ers are planning to rest forward/center Jahlil Okafor (hamstring) on Friday versus the Denver Nuggets.
Okafor tweaked his hamstring on Thursday but will be available to play on Friday in only an emergency situation, as the team gives him some rest. They don't play again until Tuesday night. Joel Embiid was already slated to play, but now Nelrens Noel will look to get a big bump up in minutes on Friday and possibly even the start.
Noel played 22 minutes -- his most all season -- with 14 points, six rebounds, and one steal on Thursday versus the Utah Jazz.
