Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal (ankle) will not play against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday
Beal tried to make it through warmups on Friday, but the ankle, which he hurt on Wednesday was still sore. The Wizards have opted to sit the oft-injured guard with their next game coming on Monday. Sheldon McClellan will start in Beal's place but John Wall is by far the biggest benefactor of the injury.
McClellan has played less than 50 minutes in the Wizards last four games while posting only 13 points.
