Dirk Nowitzki is sick, misses Mavericks' shootaround
Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki (illness) did not go through shootaround and is questionable to play against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.
There isn't much known about Nowitzki's illness after the team was off on Wednesday, so it might come down to a game time decision. If Nowitzki misses, Dwight Powell and Dorian Finney-Smith could be in for a lot of run against the Lakers.
If he does play, our models project Nowitzki for 11.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 20.5 minutes against the Lakers.
