Spurs won't have Manu Ginobili on Thursday night
San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Manu Ginobili (rest) did not travel with the team for their two-game road trip.
Ginobili has already been ruled out for Thursday night's contest with the Los Angeles Clippers, nor is he expected to play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. Jonathon Simmons and Danny Green should see a few more looks, but hold on to Ginobili for now.
Through 24 games this season, Ginobili owns a career-low -0.2 nERD. He's struggled on the year, but has scored at least 12 points in three of his last four games, including a 14.5-point average over the last two. Ginobili's 21.2 usage percentage is the lowest since his rookie campaign back in 2002-03.
