Clippers' Blake Griffin requires knee surgery, out three-to-six weeks
Los Angeles Clippers forward/center Blake Griffin (right knee) will reportedly undergo a "clean up" arthroscopic surgery early this week.
According to Clippers beat writer Dan Woike, the "clean up" procedure will cost Griffin three-to-six weeks. It's not too long of an absence, so owners should wait out his absence. Paul Pierce, Brandon Bass and Marreese Speights should all see increased opportunity.
Griffin is tied with Kemba Walker for 20th in the NBA with a 3.0 nERD this season. He's averaging 21.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 33.7 minutes per contest, while his .480 field goal percentage is career-low.
