Nerlens Noel will make his season debut Sunday for 76ers
Philadelphia 76ers forward/center Nerlens Noel (knee) will be available to make his regular-season debut Sunday against the Detroit Pistons.
Noel had surgery on October 24th, so his return comes just about seven weeks after he went under the knife to repair some inflammation in his knee. The Sixers' logjam at center now just gets worse, so expect Noel's minutes to be monitored in the early going.
Noel averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 blocks per game last season, contributing to a measly -2.0 nERD. Our models project him to average 12.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks in 28.3 minutes per game over the rest of the season.
