Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle) not playing in Nuggets' matchup with Wizards
Denver Nuggets point guard Emmanuel Mudiay (right ankle sprain) will not play against the Washington Wizards on Thursday night.
The injury comes out of nowhere and is a little suspicious a night after Mudiay logged just 18 minutes before being benched. Head coach Mike Malone did say lineup changes were on the horizon, but a complete scratch was unexpected. Jameer Nelson becomes an attractive play while Jamal Murray will get extra run at the point.
Prior to the update, our models had Nelson as a decent DFS play Thursday night, projecting him for 9.3 points, 4.9 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 3-pointers in 27.9 minutes.
