Miami to miss Justise Winslow (wrist), Josh Richardson (ankle, wrist) for rest of road trip

Miami Heat forward Justise Winslow (wrist) and guard/forward Josh Richardson will not travel with the team during their upcoming three-game road trip.

What It Means:

Dion Waiters (groin), Josh Richardson (wrist, ankle), Luke Babbitt (hip) and James Johnson (rotator cuff) will also stay in Miami, leaving only nine healthy players on the roster. Goran Dragic, Tyler Johnson and Hassan Whiteside will all see increased usage, while Wayne Ellington, Rodney McGruder, Derrick Williams and Josh McRoberts will have increased opportunities as well. Head coach Erik Spoelstra said Winslow is progressing in his recovery, so he may be ready to return against the Washington Wizards when the Heat return home on December 12.

Winslow's -1.5 nERD is an improvement on last year's -3.9 mark, but it currently sits as the second-worst clip on the team. The Heat currently rank 14th in the league, according to numberFire's NBA Team Power Rankings.
