Marc Gasol triple-doubles as Memphis prevails in double-overtime

Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol racked up 28 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists while playing 46 minutes in a 110-108 double-overtime win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.

What It Means:

This was only the second triple-double of Gasol's career, and he added a pair of steals, two blocks and three 3-pointers to fill out an outstanding stat line. He's averaging career-highs in points (18.9) and assists (4.2) while also pulling down 5.7 rebounds per game.

Gasol ranks 37th in the league with a 1.5 nERD, and his .498 effective field goal percentage is his best mark since the 2010-2011 season, while his 20.4 player efficiency rating is on pace to be the second-best of his career.
