Vince Carter ruled out again for Memphis on Saturday
Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Carter (hip) is out for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
More than 24 hours before game time, Carter has already been ruled out, so it will be more of the Nasty Nine man rotation for the Grizzlies against the Lakers. Troy Daniels played 29 minutes off the bench Thursday and Troy Williams played 35, but struggled a lot. These two and Tony Allen will be the primary beneficiaries of Carter being out.
In his 19th NBA season, Carter is averaging 9.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 26.4 minutes per game. He has a modest .470 effective field goal percentage.
